FAQs

Where do I board the boat?

You will board the boat at Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey. The boat will be docked 5 minutes prior to your charter time at the Dock 55 Landing.  Dock 55 Landing is provided by Los Angeles County specifically for licensed charter boats to pick up and drop off passengers. Your departure time has been reserved with the County so please arrive on time or even a bit early because we are only permitted to wait on the dock for 15 minutes.

Fisherman's Village is located at 13755 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

Where can I park?

There are two options for parking.  The first option is parking at Fisherman's Village. Fisherman's Village parking is right in front of the charter dock.  Please be aware that if your charter is scheduled for a weekend or holiday you should allow extra time because it may take additional time to locate a space.

The second option is free parking all day at Dock 52. This is a Los Angeles County run parking lot located about 10 minutes walk from Fishermans Village on the same road, Fiji Way. Please be aware that if your charter is scheduled for a weekend or holiday you should allow extra time because it may take additional time to locate a space.

Dock 52 is located at 13552 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

What about Uber / Lyft / Taxi?

Yes, this is another option. Your drop off point is 13755 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292.

How many guests can I bring on the boat?

All private charters are limited to a maximum of 6 passengers. This number includes children and infants.

Do you serve food and drinks? Can I bring my own?

We do not serve food or drinks on board. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks. We have a kitchen with a small refrigerator and an ice chest located in the cockpit wet bar. (bottled water available on request)

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothes.  It is often cooler out on the water so we suggest you bring a sweatshirt or jacket.  Also bring sunscreen and a hat if you would like.

Can I play my own music on the boat?

Yes, the boat's sound system has an auxilary input. You may plug in your iPhone, Android phone or tablet to listen to your own music.

What if there's bad weather?

If there heavy rain, gale force winds, or USCG craft advisories you will be notified via phone, email or text on the day of your reservarion. Charters are cancelled at the captain's discretion and will be rescheduled.

What if I get seasick?

Usually for Harbor Cruises sea conditons will be very smooth.  For coastline tours sea conditons may be choppy, so we recommend taking Dramamine at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.
